Border to Border

Jacksonville, Florida, to Cleveland, Ohio
April 17- May 9

This ride is designed for enjoyable cycling. Jacksonville to Cleveland offers a variety of cultures, a great time of the year, and a good mix of cycling terrain.

The starting and ending points allow for generous airport connections. Wheels will transport your bike from Upland to Jacksonville at the start of the trip, and then back to Upland at the end of the trip.

The distance, before fine tuning the route, is around 1,100 miles allowing for 60 to 65-mile days with two rest days. It is our plan to use all indoor facilities, no tenting.

The trip will start in Jacksonville, Florida, running on mostly back roads. We’ll cycle east of Augusta, Georgia, area and continue north into South Carolina and on into North Carolina around Charlotte. From Charlotte we’ll continue north,
biting off the corner of Virginia and then into West Virginia. Parkersburg, West Virginia, will be our next landmark, putting us on the border of Ohio. Ohio has great back roads with plenty of well established communities to welcome us as we head for Cleveland, Ohio.

Non-Refundable Deposit: $200

Includes the following:

• Transportation from Jacksonville airport to starting point, and to the Cleveland airport at the end of the trip.
• Bike transportation from Upland to Jacksonville at the start of the trip, and from Cleveland to Upland at the end of the trip.
• Team shirt
• Lodging, basic ground arrangements, staff, vehicles, etc.
• Ten (10) meals per riding week. Participants will be responsible to buy all other meals.

Optional Expenses: (not included in trail fee)

• Daily spending money (over and above meals you must purchase)
• Bike repairs - All bike repair labor will be charged, and repair parts sold, at a fair price. Please be prepared to pay for these when repairs are made.
